Sandbox | Yang.Sayoon

Sayoon Yang is a Nomad Designer from South Korea currently based in Halle, Germany. Her focus on Design is playfulness and multiple endings.

After working in the field of social innovation and education business as a consultant, a lecturer and a project manager for several years, she started designing for her friends, who looked for someone who understands their aim and context.

It was real joy of her to visualize for the clients and for her projects as well. So she started a graphic design studio 'chaaalk'(2014-2019). It drived her to realize her interest in handcraft and more interactive factors in design.

Now she studies design of playing and learning at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle from 2017.

She has a bacherlor's degree in economics and finance from the Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea and also one in media and cultural studies from the same university.
